Meghan had a starring role in a community center play. We said goodbye to our old friend Dudley. Kelly became a teenager!
Meghan played the evil queen in a play that combined Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

Our beloved, if smelly, basset hound Dudley met his maker on August 24. Other than his hound stink, he'd been kinder to the kids and us than the years had been to him. Age just caught up with him. Many tears were shed for him. Mikey was profoundly affected too - he asked "when Dudley goes to doggie heaven, what are we having for lunch?" The picture with the visible date below was taken about a half hour before he was put to sleep. Goodbye old friend.
The kids sent a balloon up to heaven that night with a message for Dudley.
